Southwest Baptist U Adopts Angel LMS

Southwest Baptist University (SBU) in Missouri has adopted the Angel Learning Management Suite (LMS) to deliver and manage Web-enhanced instruction in traditional face-to-face classes and hybrid and online courses. The university chose to consider an alternative to its Blackboard implementation, which it's had in place since 1997, due to increasing costs and a decline in technical support.

CSU System Adopts Moodle LMS Services

The California State University system is providing new learning management system support options to its 23 campuses. Through a new agreement with Moodlerooms, campuses will be offered the option of adopting the open source Moodle virtual learning environment and will be provided with hosting, training, and other support services. In addition to Moodle, the CSU system is also offering a similar service to schools that adopt Angel LMS, a commercial learning management system.
