Radiant Logic Releases New Version of Virtual Directory Server

Radiant Logic has rolled out RadiantOne Virtual Directory Server (VDS) 5.0, a set of tools for managing identity integration for Web site single signon and federation.

RadiantOne VDS 5.0 uses a three-step wizard, designed to connect all back-end sources to the virtual directory. Users can aggregate and integrate identity data from any data source and extend it with additional attributes for authorization. This version of RadiantOne VDS was specifically designed to simplify the process of consolidating and authenticating users from multiple Active Directory forests and domains, different databases, and other identity sources. The software then leverages this identity information by making it appear as one common virtual LDAP v3 compliant directory compatible with SUN/RedHat/Netscape directories. This new release also includes a set of scenario/wizard driven templates for the deployment of CA SiteMinder, Web single sign-on, EMC Access Manager (formerly RSA ClearTrust), and IBM Tivoli Access Manager.
