Stanford University Turns to Outside Security Consulting

Stanford University has awarded SafirRosetti's Technology Design Consulting Practice a competitively bid contract to provide security master planning and design and construction administration services as the university implements a new campus-wide security program.When completed, Stanford's planned centralized security and safety system will have the capability to provide card access control, building lock-down, and mass communication for 670 buildings at the campus in Palo Alto, CA.
The first phase of the project, soon to begin construction, includes the design and installation of security and communication systems for 175 student housing facilities. Eighty-five percent of Stanford's 9,750 students live on campus.
SafirRosetti provides technical and operational services in the fields of security, life safety, fire alarm, IT, building management and communications.
