Texas A&M University Stays in Touch with Constituents with CRM Software

The George Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University has gone public with plans to use Talisma constituent relationship management software. The school said it hopes to apply the software to the job of multi-department data and interaction management for student recruitment and retention.

"We felt Talisma was best suited to meet the needs of our organization because of how holistic and tailored to higher education the solution is," said Joann Wheeler, director of extended education for The Bush School. "We strongly believe Talisma will be a core anchor in a broader strategy to take our interactions with students to the next level."

The services integrate email, phone, chat, text messaging, print, portal, voice-over-IP, Web self-service and analytics on a Web platform.

Before partnering with Talisma, The Bush School relied upon manual processes to communicate with its constituents, requiring considerable staff coordination. With the software, the school will implement new forms of workflow and communications automation.

Texas A&M said it plans to deliver Talisma CRM to colleges and schools across the campus, including The Office of Graduate Studies, The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and The Mays Business School.
